Hervé Ghesquière & Stéphane Taponier

hervé Ghesquière and Stéphane Taponier, journalists for the magazine "Pièces à conviction" (evidence), on France 3, have been held hostages in Afghanistan since December 30the, 2009.

The two journalists were kidnapped on a road in the East of the country with three other people from their team. Three months after their kidnapping, France 3 received a video from their kidnappers, in which they threatened to kill the journalists.This carried a public outrage. It will soon be 500 days since the kidnapping.

It's been one year since we first saw their pictures on TV at the end of the different news bulletins, with no result so far. The French population refuse to believe they have died.
