-The word manga means "derisory pictures" in Japanese

The manga was born in Japan in the 18th century and exploded in the 1950s-1960s.

The aim of the manga was to propose an easy and cheap solution to spend your free time.

A few years after the Japanese video games, the manga settled in Europe and began its slow integration in the library of comic books. But every body doesn't like this new, modern style.

So a fight between the American comics and mangas has begun.

But this constraint doesn't stop the progress of the manga which is popular with young people even with older people.

There are 3 categories of manga:

-Shonen: means young boy (10-18 years old).

-Seinen: Just for adult.

-Shojo: young teen girl. It's talk about love and friendly.
